April 1, 2026 Announcement ~ CareFree Lawn is Going Paperless starting in December for the 2027 season!
Invoices, prepay information, and service updates will be delivered by email and text.

April 15, 2026 Update ~ Contact Information & 2027 Prepays
We are asking all customers to please update or verify their current email address & cell number by emailing:
office@carefree-lawn.com
Customers with an email address on file will receive their 2027 annual prepay information by email beginning in December 2026. These notices will no longer be mailed through USPS.
Additionally, the first reminder that service Automatically Renews will also be delivered by email.
Carefree will send a text message to customers to alert them that their Prepay letter and Automatic Renewal notice has been sent and to check their email.
May 19, 2026 ~ Questions customers have asked us to date regarding our paperless transition.
Q) Will I get a text in advance of treatments next season?
A) As it stands right now, technicians will continue actual phone calls for any customer that requests a Call Ahead notification. We have 9 Technicians and each manages their own areas. Each Technician has created a great relationship with their customers and we want them to continue that relationship with you. For additional information on Carefree Text Message please click here.
Q) How will I pay for my service?
A) Payment options will remain the same. Customers may continue paying by cash, check, or credit/debit card. Payment instructions will be included in each email you receive.
Q) How will I know how much I need to pay?
A) If you choose the Prepay Option: Your 2027 prepay information will be emailed to you in early December and will include your prepay amount.
If you choose the Pay-By-Visit Option: After each service visit, an invoice will be emailed to you showing the amount due for that application.
Special Note:
Customers do not need to print their prepay notices or invoices to mail a payment. Our goal in transitioning to paperless is not to create extra work for our customers. If paying by check, please include your account number in the memo line so we can properly apply your payment to your account.
Q) Will Auto-Pay still be an option?
A) Yes, Auto-Pay will still be available.
However, because CareFree Lawn is transitioning to a new system, existing Auto-Pay profiles will not transfer to the new platform. Customers currently enrolled in Auto-Pay will need to set up their payment information again after the transition is complete.
Instructions for setting up Auto-Pay by visit will be provided once the new system becomes available.
